Albany - Some sharp shooters are taking aim in the woods of Southwest Georgia. The army Marksmanship Unit from Ft. Benning is in Calhoun County on Bell Plantation.

Friday morning they shot skeet, and planned to hunt quail later today and tomorrow. They are also taking part in the taping of an outdoor sporting show on Hunt, Fish, Cook Television.

Staff Sgt. Bill Keeber said, "Our primary mission is to enhance combat readiness for the army and you may be asking how does a shotgun shooter enhance combat readiness?  But anything we learn in competitions we feed that right down to the soldiers on the ground."

Two of these soldiers will be part of the United States Olympic shooting team, they just don't know which ones yet. The show featuring the soldiers will air on Sportsman Channel after the first of the year.
