Albany-- Do you know someone who works to fulfill the dream of Martin Luther King? If so, Albany's King Day Committee wants you to nominate them.
The theme for the January 21st ceremony is "Our Vote, Our Right, Our Responsibility." The committee will sponsor a voter registration push and provide free voter identification cards at the celebration.
"What we'll do is reiterate the power behind the vote, the struggle that came about for everyone to have the equal vote but our present day responsibility to ensure that we exercise that right to vote," said PR Chair Calandra Jefferson.
