Red Cross gets in the tree business

November 27, 2007

Bainbridge-- The American Red Cross Wiregrass Chapter and Thomasville Auto Sales are teaming up to sell Christmas trees this year.

A Red Cross board member came up with the idea to raise money and raise awareness for the Red Cross.  Kristin Riggs, Execuitve Director of The Red Cross Wiregrass Chapter says, "This year, not only can they get their tree but they can help an organization that's helping their community. That money will stay right here in the community to help disaster victims."

The lot has fraser firs and white pines for sale ranging from 4 to 10 feet tall.
