Albany - A slow moving blimp passed over South Albany around 1:45 PM this afternoon. The Outback Blimp is apparently on the way from Atlanta to Orlando where it will be in flight for the weekend.
The Outback Airship is 130 feet long, 38 feet wide and 45 feet tall. It weighs 4,400 pounds, and can carry three passengers and one pilot at a maximum speed of 55 miles per hour.
