Albany -- A train engineer made a gruesome discovery Saturday morning just yards away from busy train tracks in north Albany.
The body of an unidentified black man was found in a wooded area near the 400 block of Hodges Avenue.
An engineer on board a passing train spotted the body around 11:30 this morning. It was about 50 feet from the railroad tracks.
It is not known at this time if foul play was involved or how long the body had been in that location.
The Albany Police Department is investigating the death.
