Randolph County --  Wet roadways on Thanksgiving day caused two traffic accidents in Randolph County, and closed a portion of Highway 82, making some travelers late for Thanksgiving dinner.

One car rolled over after sliding off the westbound lanes of Highway 82 just before Highway 41 in Randolph County. We don't think anyone was seriously hurt.

The Georgia Department of Public Safety predicted more than three thousand crashes and more than 1200 injuries and 18 fatalities during the five day holiday travel period.
