Albany -- An Albany Motorcycle Ministry tried their best to make sure no one went without this Thanksgiving.
Heavens Saints Motorcycle Ministry started early this morning and delivered smoked turkeys and hams to many of Albany's homeless this Thanksgiving.
The group's last stop was the Albany Rescue Mission, but they checked culverts and under passes making sure everyone got a Thanksgiving meal.
"We're so blessed that we have more than enough, and we know there's a lot of people in our home that don't," says Heavens Saints Motorcycle Ministry President Chester Smith. "We know people that actually have a place to live, but they didn't have enough to buy what they wanted for thanksgiving, so we got a list of some of these people, they volunteered, through DFACS, but our biggest concern was the homeless."
The group hopes to launch a jacket drive to provide warm coats and blankets for those in need at the Rescue Mission.
