Albany - Westover's Jason Jones is the recipient of week's Orthopaedic Associates Albany Area Player of the Week Award.Jones caught a 68 yard touchdown pass in the Patriots first round playoff win last week at Thomson.
The all-star linebacker also had more than 10 tackles on defense as Westover held Thomson to just 13 points.

Westover linebacker-tight end Jason Jones said "Against Worth County, we had a bad taste in our mouth after that game right there. I think it takes a bad taste in your mouth to build your confidence the next week. So, I believe we can go and beat Henry County."
