Albany - - A lot of flights through Albany's airport are booked solid this week.
It just adds to recent success at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport.
Director Yvette Ahele says the airport reached a milestone last month, setting a record for the number passengers passing through Albany.
October surpassed the previous high number of passengers set in July 1999.
Ahele says travelers are realizing the extra costs associated with flying at airports in other cities and choosing to fly from Albany.
