Albany - - It's the time of year we say thanks for what we have. One Albany organization is showing their thanks by helping others.

Tuesday, the Pride of Albany Masonic Lodge 360 held a turkey giveaway.

Although the group is accustomed to giving back, this is the first year they've done this. They gave away a total of 35 turkeys.

"It makes us feel real good to touch different people from different walks of life and different parts of the community. You can actually touch them and make a difference in the community," says Antonio Qualls.

Monday night, the masons gave Thanksgiving dinner to elderly residents at Arcadia Commons.

The group also makes Christmas baskets during the holidays.
