The season has gotten off to a rough start for the Albany State basketball team.
The Rams lost their season opener 78-67 at Xavier University in New Orleans and in the process lost their point guard to injury.
Senior Sean Glenn left the game in the first half with a knee injury that Albany State officials fear could keep their point guard off the court for some time.
Scheraun King led the Rams with 26 points.
Albany State will play their home opener Monday night against Georgia Southwestern.
The news is much better for Valdosta State.
The Blazers hit triple digits in a 100-85 win over Florida Memorial at the Complex Monday.
Ricky Coleman had a career high 26 points for the Blazers (3-0) who are on the road at the Eckerd Classic this weekend.
