Already congested, Ledo Road will be packed this weekend

November 19, 2007

Albany - As you prepare for Black Friday, prepare to spend a little more time on the blacktop, especially in Northwest Albany. Traffic along Nottingham and Ledo Road is growing more congested each day.

For new business owner Tate Yandle, who is opening eZeeCopy in Ledo Crossing, that's great news. It's actually one of the reasons he decided to open up shop there, because It means more people will be driving by and dropping in.

But he does recognize the need for a traffic solution to relieve some of the congestion. "I think it's going to be very hectic," said Yandle.  "The traffic flow right now is good for us, but may not be good for the ones in the cars, but I think it can be improved. An overpass would be lovely. Right over there right behind us I believe."

Just in time for after-Thanksgiving shopping, two new stores are opening in Ledo Crossing. eZee Copy is one of them. Blush, a clothing store, will also be open on Friday for the Christmas rush.
