Albany-- The "Can Do" food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Southwest Georgia has done it. The goal of  the three day food drive was ten-thousand cans, and Friday morning they already had at least fifteen-thousand. Organizers say the food drive was a huge success just in time for Thanksgiving.

"Its just wonderful that all the listeners out there are coming in and bringing donations and canned foods, because all of this eventually goes back out into the community, distributed by the Foodbank of Southwest Georgia" said John Baldwin with K-Country radio. The Can Do food drive will continue until 7 pm at  Harvey's on North Slappey.
