VSU President to retire

Valdosta - Ronald Zaccari, President at Valdosta State University, has announced his plans for retirement.

In a statement, Zaccari said he planned to retire next fall, but pushed that date up to assist the search for a new president.

His retirement will be begin June 1, 2008.  Zaccari has been VSU's president since 2002. 

The University hopes to fill his position before the fall school year begins.
