Thomasville-- FSU is home to the largest magnetic field laboratory in the world.  A masters degree student from the program came to Thomas County Middle Tuesday to give students a first-hand demonstration.

Terry Dukes, a science teacher at TCMS says, "I believe that the students learn better, more easily and quicker by doing hands-on activities, and by having a guest speaker come he's able to talk to them and bring them materials that we don't have at our school."

Right now, the students are learning about electricity and magnetism so the demonstration fit right in to their curriculum.
