Albany - - By the middle of this week, many of you will receive your property tax bills in the mail.
Though you may not be thrilled about getting it, you will have a new option to pay your taxes.
County workers will mail tax bills to Dougherty County property owners. This year, they're offering an online payment option.
"It's got payment history when you pull up a particular property and you can see how much you've been paying, what it is now, and go back I believe ten years," says Denver Hooten.
She says this option will also help many Dougherty County property owners who live out of state.
When you get your bill in the mail, it will include the web address.
