Valdosta - A man already serving a life sentence has now received an additional sentence of six more years in prison.
A Lowndes County jury found 41 year-old Michael Walker guilty of obstruction of a correctional officer.
The District Attorney's office says Walker attacked a prison guard at Valdosta State Prison and while he was being subdued, hit two more guards.
He was already serving life for a 1989 murder in McIntosh County.
