Albany-- Darton College may soon be hit the airwaves on your F-M dial. Darton has filed an application with the F-C-C for a new non-commercial educational F-M station at 88.3 on your radio. Darton faculty members say the radio station will be a great asset to the communications department which already houses television channel nineteen.
"The radio station is just another opportunity for us to provide services to our customers, to our students and build upon the mass communications program that we have" said Station Manager Larry Smith.
Approval from the F-C-C may take six to twelve months and will be the last window of educational bandwidth allowed on the FM dial.
