Lee County -- The Lee County Sheriff's office has dropped their investigation at a fast food restaurant after test results came back with nothing suspicious.
Two Lee County deputies got sick after getting drinks at a Sonic drive-thru, but now investigators say that sickness had nothing to do with the restaurant.
Lab tests confirm there was nothing suspicious in the drinks that deputies Yvette Miller and Shane Gosa got from the Sonic on Ledo Road. Neither deputy was hospitalized, but both left work early in July after becoming severely ill.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office thanked Sonic for their cooperation, and said the restaurant helped them in every way with the investigation.
