Quitman - It's been thirteen years since the Quitman Fire Department got a new fire truck so when making their newest purchase they went all out.
The fire department now has the newest model fire truck hot off the assembly line.
It's equipped to fight almost any type of fire and has some new technology that could speed up response times.
the new fire truck has air packs inside of the fire truck seats, built in to the seats so you can just strap in , come out and be ready to fight fires," says Fire Chief Clay Phillips.
It's making firefighters in some neighboring counties jealous because it's the only truck like it in the area.
