Thieves swipe golf carts

November 7, 2007

Albany -- Crooks could be driving around in stolen golf carts... After a Northwest Albany business was the target of thieves overnight.

Police say someone knocked down a fence at the Battery Source on North Westover Boulevard and stole three golf carts valued at 13-thousand dollars.

The stolen golf carts were red 2003 and 2004 Mark 2X2's and a beige Champ back seater.

Albany Police don't have any suspects, and they hope anyone with information will call Crimestoppers at 436-TIPS.
