Albany --  The three colleges in Albany will come together Friday to host a Veteran's Day Observance at Albany State University.

The tribute will honor all Veterans, not forgetting the men and women who have served in Iraq and recently returned home, and those still serving today.

Darton College, Albany Tech, and Albany State will combine to host the Veteran's Day Observance, with music from the Darton and Albany State bands and choirs, and the Albany Marine Band.

College leaders think this will help instill patriotism in the students. "It lets us reflect on veteran's of the past, and it brings us to know what is really going on now in terms of our Iraqi Freedom issues," says A.S.U.

Continuing Education Coord. Olivia I. Morman. The Veteran's Day Observance will begin at 11 AM Friday at the Albany State University Pedestrian Mall.
