Albany - - Some young voters got one last chance Monday to hear from candidates for local office before election day.

Albany State University's Student Government Association sponsored a political forum on campus.

Candidates spoke about the things they want to see in Albany and even plans for ASU.

Students say they felt it was important for them to be there.

"Because I live in the city. I'm a student at ASU so I felt it would be important to find out what the city officials are trying to do to better the city and better my college experience since I live here," Jessica Johnson said.

Many students say they plan to head to the polls Tuesday.
