Bainbridge--The Academic Resource Center, or the ARC, at Bainbridge College was the only academic entity to receive an award at the first Team Georgia Customer Service Awards.
The ARC is a peer-tutoring program that is free for Bainbridge College students. ARC Director Lori Kuhn-Hancock says, "If we don't do really, really well and continue to get better at what we do the students won't come here. So I think that's part of what was recognized is that we are always looking at new ways to do things, better ways to do things, and nicer ways to do things."
The ARC competed with 42 state agencies for the award. A total of 15 awards were given out for various areas of customer service.
