Albany --  An early morning wreck sends several people to the hospital and backs up traffic for miles, about 7:11 AM at the intersection of Clark Avenue and the Liberty Expressway today.

The accident happened when 32-year-old Jennifer McGhee of Albany turned left onto Clark Avenue in front of a semi-truck driven by 50-year-old Albert Lumpkin of Unadilla.

McGhee was driving a white '99 Ford Thunderbird that was totaled in that wreck.

Her three-year-old toddler, Brianna Worthy, was in the back seat of that car. She was properly restrained in her car seat and received only minor scratches.

All three people involved in the accident were taken to Phoebe Hospital.

Lumpkin is listed in good condition. McGhee's condition remains unknown. Albany police cited her for failure to yield for turning left.
