Worth County-- A Worth County woman and her family have been threatened and their home vandalized. Linda Webb says someone spray painted graffiti on her home and her husbands truck, and then egged her home and mailbox on Pebble lane in Worth County over the last several days.
Webb was also threatened through a series of phone calls Wednesday, with someone saying they wanted to burn down her residence with her inside. Webb says she may be targeted because of her recent testimony in a federal court case. Webb says she will not be intimidated and has no plans of leaving her home of fourteen years.
"I am just worried about what is going to happen, but I am not going to be run off from my own home. If this is a retaliation they are wasting there time, I am too old to run, I am not going anywhere" said Worth County resident Linda Webb.
This afternoon Worth County deputies were able to locate the top of a can of spray paint, near the scene and hope that it will give some leads in the case. The Webb family is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the crime.
