Albany - The Westover Patriots are riding high after back to back wins over Dougherty and Monroe earn them the title of city champions.
Westover quarterback Brandon Lee is the recipient of his week's Orthopaedic Associates Albany Area Player of the Week Award.
Brandon completed seven of 13 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's win over Monroe.
After hurting themselves with mistakes early in the season, Westover's offense is running on all cylinders.
Brandon Lee said "We have been working on a lot of things in practice. Trying to get over the mistakes that we have made and capitalize on the things that we need to get done."
Westover plays at Crisp County 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Cougar Den in Cordele.
