Albany -- A Dougherty County street sweeper was side swiped by a pick-up truck in downtown Albany Tuesday  morning.

Police say about 9 O-clock a 1998 Ford F-150 collided with the Dougherty County street sweeper at the corner of South Washington and Ogelthorpe Boulevard, right in front of the law enforcement center.

Both vehicles were going north on Washington, where in the intersection the lanes shift. Police say 69 year old Freddie Williams of Albany did not shift with the lane change, and collided with the street sweeper.

No one was hurt, but the truck was damaged. The street sweeper was barely scratched.

Williams was cited for failure to maintain lane.
