Athens - While Georgia coach Mark Richt waits to hear if he will disciplined by the Southeastern Conference for allowing his Bulldogs to storm the field after scoring their first touchdown against Florida, freshman running back Knowshon Moreno did hear from the conference and it was good news.
Knowshon Moreno is the SEC's offensive player of the week after he rushed for a career high 188 yards and scoring three touchdowns in the Bulldogs 42-30 win over the Gators.
It is the third time this season that Moreno has rushed for more than 100 yards and his performance reminded long time Georgia fans of the days when the Bulldogs won 10 of 12 from the Gators thanks to running backs like Kevin McLee, Herschel, Walker, Tim Worley and Keith Henderson.
Knowshon Moreno said "Those are great backs and they are great people. I don't want to put myself up there like that right now. We are just having fun as team right now this season and we want to keep it up. "
The SEC also announcing the Georgia Auburn game on November 10th will start at 3-30 in Athens and will be televised by CBS.
