Young Harris -- The top-ranked Darton women's soccer team played in the Region XVII championship game, and were looking to become the first team to beat Young Harris on its home field in the region tournament.
It took more than two overtimes, but the Lady Cav's get it done.
Tied at two after the second OT, they went to penalty kicks with Darton winning 4 to 3.
Goalkeeper Liana Miller made two saves in the PK round, including the final shot.
Darton now advances to play in the district tournament in Lakeland, Florida on Friday.
The next round would be the national championship tournament, which Darton hosts beginning November 14th.
