You can vote ahead of time

Albany -- Advance voting for the November Sixth elections will begin Monday.      

There is a new location for advanced voting in Dougherty County this election.  Polls will open at 8:30 Monday at the Riverfront Resource Center, known as the Candy Room, at 125 Pine Avenue, next to the Flint Riverquarium.      

There will also be voting machines open at the Dougherty County Elections Office. They will not have advanced voting at the Civic Center, as they have in the past.     

In Albany, the Mayor and three City Commission races are on the ballot, as well as a SPLOST referendum.      

Registered voters can vote early, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM this Monday through Friday.       There will be no voting the following Monday, November 5th. Then election day is Tuesday, November 6th.
