Thomasville-- Dozens of people are losing their jobs with the closure of a Thomasville plant. Thomasville Home Furnishing's, a bedspread and drapery manufacturer, is closing.
Eighty-seven people will be out of work by Friday. The Georgia Department of Labor announced they will provide assistance for the employees.
The company was established in 1977. At the beginning of the year it was listed as one of Thomasville's top 20 employers.
