Dougherty County --An 11 year old Dougherty County girl says a school bus ran over her foot. Shadavia Mitchell says the bus rolled over her left foot Tuesday morning as she sat on the curb at at the corner of Stagecoach Road and Dorough Avenue.
The bus driver, 71 year old Roy McDade, told police he saw the girl and made a wide turn to avoid hitting her. Police say the child did have a little bruising on her foot.
No Police charges have been filed. Transportation officials say they are investigating.
