Albany -- For more than two decades the annual Albany YMCA Holiday Chili Run has attracted hundreds of runners.

This year's Chili Run also has an appropriate new sponsor, Chili's.

Chili's Restaurant opened for business on Ledo Road Monday. It signed on as a platinum level sponsor for the race. All the proceeds go to benefit YMCA youth programs.

"Any individual that is interested that are local and interested in signing up for the race can come by the YMCA and pick up a registration form. Also, they can log on to www.active.com and register on line," said Izzie Tindall, Albany YMCA .

The Holiday Chili Run consists a 15 K, 5 K, and a 1 mile fun run. It starts at the YMCA Central Facility on Gillionville Road.
