Quitman --  Police say 47-year-old Herman Arnold was riding his bike along Bartow Road in Quitman last night when he apparently ran off into a rain-filled ditch.   His body was found around 8:00 this morning.

"We contacted the GBI, they worked the crime scene for us, they are going to do the crime scene. GBI will do an autopsy and let us know, but there is no foul play expected at this time," said Quitman Police Chief Wesley Ross.

Arnold was only 50 yards from his home when he drowned.
