Albany -- Just after midnight 26-year-old Artorius Davis was shot as he ran from two armed robbers in the 900 block of Cherry Avenue.
Witnesses say they heard four or five gunshots, and then saw Davis running across the Harvey's parking lot at South Slappey and West Gordon.
Davis was shot in the left elbow, and witnesses say bleeding heavily. Police say Davis was walking home on Cherry when two men, one armed with a shotgun, demanded money.
Davis said he was not able to identify the men. He underwent emergency surgery. No arrests have been made.
