Moultrie -- Both suspects in a deadly home invasion this morning in Moultrie are now in custody.

Police caught one of the two men wanted in the case in Calhoun County, we believe that capture occurred in the Leary Area.

Police went on to track the armed and dangerous second suspect in a wooded area near Leary.

Police arrested Jim Cloud, a white man who is 6' 2" tall and weighs about 245 pounds, and 20-year-old Craig Gandy. Both men are from Colquitt Co.

Just before 3:30 this morning, 51-year-old James Moore, and 46-year-old Karen Marie Moore were shot by two men who broke into their 612 Coventry Circle home.

Authorities say that Karen Marie Moore has died from the gun shot.

James Moore was rushed to Colquitt Regional Medical Center for treatment of at least three gun shot wounds. His condition was stable at last report.

Moultrie Police investigator Sergeant Alfonzo Cook says Cloud and Gandy-- armed with a gun and a bat -- entered the house and demanded money from the Moores. The couple gave the suspects money.

Cook says Mrs. Moore told the robbers she knew who they were and could identify them. That's when one of the suspects began firing.

The officer says the Moores were cooks at carnivals and the two suspects are employees. He says the suspects knew the Moores would have cash on hand.
