Albany- Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital's administrators Monday got a shot in the arm.
To kick off flu immunization season, administrators at Phoebe rolled up their sleeves to be some of the first to receive the flu vaccine. They were hoping to set the example for others to get vaccinated against influenza.
"We are challenging them to meet and exceed our goal of 70 percent of our health care workers getting the vaccine," said Beth Connors, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Employees who were unable to get the shot Monday can get one during a drive through flu vaccination clinic from six to nine a.m. Tuesday, October 26-th, and 29-th near the hospital's parking deck on Fourth Avenue.
