Fatal Crisp County wreck under investigation

Crisp County--  Georgia State Patrol's Specialized Reconstruction Team is investigating a fatal wreck in Crisp County.

It happened after midnight Saturday morning. GSP says 19-year-old Joseph Leavell of Cordele was heading west on Nappa Road when he lost control of his 81' GMC truck, over corrected and overturned in a ditch.

His passenger, 28-year-old Shannah Brown of Seville, Georgia was ejected and killed. Troopers say Leavell had visible injuries.  No word on his condition.
