ASU suffers first conference loss

October 20, 2007

Albany -- The Albany State football team lost its first conference game of the year Saturday, as Tuskegee beat the Rams 40-28 in Albany.

The Tigers got on the board first, before Kisan Flakes and Gary Neavins connected on a 57-yard touchdown to tie it at 7-7.

Tuskegee scored the next fourteen points, and led 21-7 after the first quarter.

The Rams (6-2, 4-1) fall to second place in the SIAC after the loss.

Albany State will look to bounce back next week as they host Morehouse at three o'clock for homecoming.
