Albany - The Darton College cross-country team looks to cap their first season by winning region titles.
The first season has alrebeen a big season for both Cavalier teams.
The women have won two meets and the men have a first and second place showing.
Brittney Skiles and Tabitha Payne are ranked first and second in the women's side and David Marley is third in the men's standings in the region.
The Darton runners will be tested by a very steep course at Truett-McConnell College but both teams posted great times in an earlier meet on the same course.
David Mann said "We have been training for this all season. All of the races we have done up to this point have pretty much been training sessions for this race."
Brittney Skiles said "It is pretty tough course and there are a lot of hills. It is a tough course and we have been practicing on hills. So, we should be ready to run it."
Darton will have a sendoff for the cross country team Friday afernnoon at 1:00 p.m.
