Dougherty County --  Albany Technical College's President will travel across the Pacific for the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference.

Dr. Anthony Parker will take part in a week long training session for business and education leaders on how the American military works.

Parker says this will help Albany Tech better educate students for jobs at MCLB Albany. "The more I understand, the better I understand about the supply chain issues of the military, the better we can help our students adapt quickly to their needs."

Dr. Parker leaves November fourth for the military training, and one of his first stops will be Hawaii.
