Albany - - Lee County is moving forward with plans to bring a new restaurant to town.
At a called meeting Wednesday evening, commissioners unanimously approved a drainage easement needed for a new I-HOP.
The restaurant will be built off LeDo Road behind the Toyota Dealership and should open early next year.
Commissioner Wally Roberts told us the decision is a good first step to get the ball rolling on the new development.
