Albany -- If you want to attract international businesses, you have to market globally.

The Economic Development Commission in Albany is developing a website that will allow realtors to market their properties on a website that will also provide demographic information, reports and even list businesses located in specific areas.

"It really puts us on the map nationally if not globally for people to be able to look, so if we have international people that are interest in Albany, Dougherty County for an industry, business, distribution or anything like that, they can go to our website and get their information," said EDC Vice President Andrea Schruijer.

The website is still being developed, but is expected to be up and running in November.
