Albany - Albany's Ward 6 Commissioner kicked off his reelection campaign Wednesday with an open house. Tommie Postell is seeking a second term in office.

Wednesday at noon he gathered with family, friends, and supporters at his campaign headquarters on South Madison. Election day is November 6th, but Postell says he's claiming victory now because he's confident he'll win re-election.

He said, "Because of my record. I've been a supporter of Ward 6 and South Albany from the day I started out."

Former city commissioner David Williams is challenging Postell for the Ward 6 seat.
