Dawson - The Terrell Academy softball team is in the GISA final four for a fourth consecutive year.
But it is hard to tell what the Lady Eagles want to win more this weekend a state title or beating LaGrange Academy.
LaGrange beat Terrell Academy in last year's state championship game.
A loss that cost the Lady Eagles a chance for a third consecutive title.
Then in March, LaGrange beat Terrell Academy in the GISA state basketball championship game.
This year, the Lady Eagles believe it is there turn for payback and to get back the state title after Terrell Academy beat LaGrange twice in the regular season.
Terrell Academy senior Julie Davis said "I want to win a lot and I know all these girls too. I know them and l love them like sisters and I know how bad they want to win. I think this is the year we can do it.
Terrell Academy coach Keith Jones said "We've started out playing a lot of girls trying to figure out what our lineup is going to be. once we got settled on what we had, I think got on a roll. I think we have won about 15 straight. "
Terrell Academy plays LaGrange and Crisp Academy plays Robert Toombs in the first games of the GISA Class A softball finals Saturday in LaGrange.
The finals are double elimination and the state championship game is scheduled to start 2:30 p.m. Saturday in LaGrange.
