Americus- The Cab of a tractor-trailer rig slammed into a motor-grader on Highway 195 in Sumter County Friday morning.
The truck driver was headed south on 195 when the motor grader driver attempted to turn left onto the shoulder. The truck driver, K.C. Cochran, Junior of Andersonville, swerved to miss the grader, but the cab caught the grader's rear-end.
The grader's driver, James Dustin of Sylvester, was treated and released from Sumter Regional Hospital's Urgent Care. Cochran complained of head injuries and was transported to Phoebe Puntey Memorial Hospital and later released.
