Albany -- South Georgia Christians got a better understanding of the Jewish faith Thursday night.

The Inter-Faith Forum is a three part series focusing on the Jewish experience from a Christian perspective.

Thursday night's meeting at Temple B'nai Israel included several pastors from Methodist and Episcopal churches in the area.

"In the aftermath of 9/11, I think it's critical for all Americans of different religions of backgrounds and faiths and all different types of people to dialogue with one another," said Rabbi Dana Kaplan.

"This is a good opportunity for people who don't know a lot about the Christian faith or the Jewish faith," said Living Hope Fellowship Pastor Jay Ridenhower.

The next forum next Thursday will focus on Jewish Holidays.
