Albany - Terrell Academy coach Bill Murdoch changied his offense this year to adjust to the talent of his players that including quarterback Keaton Icard.
Icard has made the adjustment of receiver to quarterback just as he is the winner of this week's Orthopaedic Associates Albany Area Player of the Week Award.
Keaton earned the award after he rushed for 142 yards, threw for 109 yards and he also returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown last week against Westwood.
Icard was only on the kick return team because Terrell Academy was expecting an onsides kick and the Wildcats kicked it deep much to Keatons' delight.
After playing wide receiver last year, Keaton has enjoying the new offense this season.
Keaton Icard said "It has actually been a lot easier because we are a lot quick this year and not as much power. We are not as big and we are a lot faster. It has pretty been easier for us."
Terrell Academy will host Bethesda Day tomorrow at 7-30 in Dawson.
