Americus- Governor Sonny Perdue's office is offering a thousand dollar reward for information that leads to the conviction of an Americus man's killer.
September second, Demetrius Boone's body was found floating in Buck Creek in a rural area of Macon County. GBI agents believe he was murdered. Investigators searched his Americus home but released few details about what they found.
Perdue's order says Boone died of two gunshot wounds to the head.
